We are learning to design something to solve a problem.

There were 3 problems

How can people have more fun in the bush? 

How could we save the bush? 

How can we survive when lost in the bush? 

We asked questions to help us solve the problems. We planned and asked more questions to make changes to our plans. 

Here we are busy creating our prototypes. As we create we make changes to our plans and ask more questions.

Technology

We are learning how to think, plan and problem solve like Technologists. We know that technology is about solving everyday problems by creating a solution (a plan or a product) to meet a need.

Check out how we worked together to solve two different problems;

Problem 1: Working as a small group plan and create a 1 metre bridge to hold a 500 gram object anywhere on the bridge using given materials.

Problem 2: Working as a small group to plan and create a tool that can propel a small canister holding an important message across a ravine using only given materials.
