Peer Reading

In Totara we have been learning how to support each other in peer reading. Peer reading is a way for children to be in the role of teacher helping each other to grow their reading strategies for working out new words and understanding different ideas in texts. It is also a fantastic way to enjoy books together.

Check out these awesome peer readers on our new 'reading beanbags'.

Thank you very much, Mr Gifkins, for the awesome beanbags! We are using them every day!
